About Stephanie Draus, ND

Stephanie is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine (Portland, OR) and is licensed as a Naturopathic Physician by the State of Connecticut.

After graduation, Stephanie  opened Stellaria Natural Health, an innovative natural medicine practice in her hometown of Chicago. From 2009-2015 she was full-time faculty at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard IL.

In March 2015, Stephanie joined University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

Stephanie is also a dancer and writer, and holds a theatre degree from Loyola University Chicago. She has worked as a director, a fight captain, an artist’s model, a hair model, a sword-fighting villainess, a dancer & dance captain, a costume designer, an SAT instructor, a reflexologist, a pirate, and a professor. Over the years, she has created art for love, money, and food, as well as for reasons she couldn’t explain to herself now if she tried. Her current job involves being healthy and inspiring for a living, which is nice work if you can get it.

Stephanie is not sponsored by and does not accept paid endorsements from any supplement, herb, or pharmaceutical company. As the creator of Feeding the Muse, as a doctor, and as an artist, she works for herself–and for you. She created this forum as a way to reach out to her fellow artists and bring them together in the pursuit of health and creativity.

You can contact her at stellariachicago@gmail.com. You’ll find more information on her work at Stellaria here.
